Associate of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration and Management

The objective of the Associate of Science degree program in Healthcare Management is to provide students with a base of knowledge in healthcare and management skills that will prepare them to progress professionally from an entry level position to a supervisory position in a healthcare organization such as a medical office or a clinic. In order to accomplish this objective the program provides foundational healthcare theory with practical courses that emphasize managing patients' information and scheduling, healthcare law and risk management and includes activities oriented towards developing leadership, communication and business-oriented thinking skills.
