Visual Exhibition At MAU
RACHEL SERATTE -Tuesday December 11/2007-
"Rachel Seratte is our Art History Instructor at Millennia Atlantic University and an amazing artist using digital techniques for her art work. The technique for her illustrations is complex in its simplicity. Inspiration comes from a variety of places. She usually starts with a sketch and a pencil to lay out what she wants to convey. Then, she usually creates an "ink" drawing with either Sumi ink or special black artist inking pens and she scans the image into Photoshop at appropriate settings so she can print at a high resolution. Using either Photoshop, Corel Draw, Art Rage or Painter X; she colors the image....sometimes spending 2-3 hours on a single aspect of the drawing."
